  1. Personally I think Twitter is part of human life. I myself tweet a lot everyday. I tweet about what I eat, I tweet about the weather. I tweet about almost everything under the sun. Twitter keeps me updated about what my friends are doing at that moment of time. It is also accessible as more and more people have internet at their palm tops. This makes tweeting more convenient and helps everyone stay connected

  2. Twitter has integrated into the lives of many, but not everyone enjoys using twitter I guess. Like me, for example. I don't lead a very eventful life and don't see a need to tweet. However I do have a twitter account to check out what my friends and doing. I follow celebrities too to learn more about what they do in their daily lives and such. In a nutshell I feel that twitter is a great invention with minimal negative aspects :)

  3. I dont tweet myself, however my friend they do. And indeed is it a great tools to see what friends are doing recently. Just a click in button(follow), you will know your friend daily lifestyle

  4. Twitter definitely beats blogging for being more accessible and more easy to post any update. Like what is said in the video, it is more open than Facebook, bringing people who share common interests together, so it is a useful tool in mobilising a social movement.

Because of its restriction of length, Twitter cannot explore issues in depth - it can only serve as a link to more detailed discussion. Howver, for both personal and social use, Twitter has its unique place.

You have covered many aspects of the topic and in a very professionally edited video - well done! However, do indicate the sources of your information in, say, a reference list as a blog post.

  5. I do not own a twitter account but i certainly feel that it's one of the most interesting new media sites nowadays. And now that celebrities join them too, i believe more people would join for more news of the celebrity. Many of my friends would sent twits to their friends to invite them to events and its much convenient compared to texting the person. Therefore for many youths,i believe that twitter is part of their life now.

  6. It actually depends on the person, I suppose. I have a Twitter account but I barely use it now. The only reason I go to Twitter is to check on my friends or favorite celebrities. But I personally know people who Tweet every five seconds. You have highlighted the advantages of Twitter well :D

  7. I agree that twitter is becoming a part of our lives. Although i personally don't tweet, i do know some of my friends tweet almost every now and then. I guess tweeting sometimes could be another way of relieving stress and pressure. This is because you could tweet almost anything. You could pour out your woes or happiness. Thus, I do agree that twitter is becoming a par of our lives.

  8. I disagree that twitter is now part of a human lives as there are also many people out there who do not own a twitter account. It is true that there are many tweets going around but however, twitter is only favorable to those with a smart phones. So how do you justify those people without a twitter account?

  9. Personally I tweet excessively and it's is so addictive! But the sad thing is that most of my friends and family don't have a twitter account, if only more people create a twitter account then i can stay connected with them.. I don't feel that facebook is similar with twitter, as most people use facebook to play games and twitter is more for their personal thoughts.

  10. I do not agree that twitter has now become part of our life. I myself does not own a twitter account. However, my friends do. Most of them told me that they do not really tweet. Instead, they only use twitter to follow their friends and also favorite celebrities to know more about them.

  11. Yes twitter is very alive in most people's lives now because its fast and convienent. We use it to tweet about anything almost insignificant cause of the limited word count
to some significant things happening in our lives. And also about following idols or business corporates..blogshops etc.. maybe even a job comapany to make job hunting easier. Also, i think twitter is really a platform to use for marketing because every bit of news is easy to read. Fb is less accessible because you cant exactly retweet or reshare what your friends have said and one dont normally put every happening on fb.

  12. Twitter is good! Because if u do so often in facebook u flood ur friend's news feed. However twitter gives u a sort of better platform for 1 to spam. Of course dont tweet every minute, because people will unfollow u. hahaha :D

  13. I agree that Twitter is now a part of human life! Because once you start tweeting, you won't want to stop. It's like whenever something happened or there's something on your mind, you will just think "I'm going to tweet about this!" And sometimes when you want to ask your friend out, instead of sending them an sms, you might find yourself mentioning them on twitter asking if they want to go out!

  14. @ Valerie:

I do agree with your personal opinions. Twitter does help in updating what you are doing and at the same time it allows your friends to know what you are doing now.

  15. @ Andre:

I do agree with you that Twitting does help in releasing pressure and stress as people now a days are more open to sharing one's thoughts online.

  16. @ Sam, Kazue and J:

I do find that Twitter does work as a personal micro blogging service that display one thoughts online. It is true that Twitter does have a difference with Facebook, however, Twitter only adapts to the Facebook status update feature which help to update your friends on what you are doing now. I also find that Twitter is a better platform as it is simple and could be used on the go. Twitter does act as a personal update diary to me!

  17. @ Beverly, Alex, Shuu, Arini and Dyana:

Twitter does not mean that you need to update what you are doing. It is just a medium for you to get to know your relations closer of what they are doing. Like me, I rarely tweet myself but I find that Twitter is a convenient tool for me to get in touch with what my friends are doing in real timing.

  18. @ Gerwyn:

Statistic proves that around 48.1% of those using twitter used the web to use this micro blogging service which is much higher to those who are using twitter via their mobile phones; which is only 17.9%. With the recent advancement in Twitter, RSS feed could be used to monitor friends without even registering as a member. Although not being a member, this proves that one still visit the Twitter website frequently throughout the day by the use of RSS feeds. This visitors are known to be unique visitors that do not have an account but does indirectly use the Twitter services.

  19. @ Sandra:

I also find that Twitter is a better medium in displaying thoughts and know what everyone is talking or thinking about. As compared to blogging, I find that blogging is rather time consuming and I bet that we do not have all the time to recall what had happen to us within the week.

  20. I personally have a Twitter account and so does many of my friends. We use it to update each other about our lives and even replace it with texts !

Not only can my friends see, strangers who are curious about my life can easily follow my account (:

  21. Honestly, twitter is a medium where I talk to myself more than anyone else. I just type down my thoughts just about anything, unless it's something I do not want by aunts to know. Talking to myself plays a huge part of my life, hence Twitter has definitely become a part of my life. However, I could live without it if I had to. I'm not an extremist :)-FATIN

  22. i think twitter has become an integral part of our lives and many of us cannot go a day without checking twitter. however this is not a problem as long as we control this and not let it disrupt our everyday lives. -marcus

  23. I do have a twitter account. However i locked it and only allow my friends to follow.
Twitter is a very good platform to send a message to everyone how how you feel and what happen at that time.

Twitter is awesome only when you have internet access anytime! :D
